About

Hey, Alesia here!

Yup, this is me.

Well, a lottle (a little and a lot) about me. I’m a full-time working woman who just happens to have a two-year-old son. I feel very strongly about woman being defined by more than their motherhood.

I currently work for an international specialty gas company, but I don’t want to work for a big company my entire life. My goal is to finish getting my B.A. in Business Management and Marketing and take that career wherever it leads me.

I was born in Syracuse, NY and moved to New Jersey when I was 11. More on that later. I currently live in Western Jersey near the Pennsylvania border. When I’m not working or chasing around my Young Jedi, I can be found doing homework or snuggling with my husband, Chris.

My favorite guys in the world.

I’ve always had a knack for writing. I’ve written stories and poems since elementary school. I love to write just to write. And honestly, if no one reads my blog, I’m OK with that. This is for me (and you—if you stick around).

This blog is my thinking space as well as a place for people to learn about real life stuff. If I write a review or talk about anything, you can expect 100% honesty from me. I will never lie about what I truly think or feel.

My posts will cover a range of topics from budgeting, marriage, and family/relationships to depression and anxiety, parenting, and DIY projects. Also literature and quotes because where would we be without that? Robert Frost anyone? Any Audrey Hepburn fans? No? I’m just a nerd then, but that’s OK.

4 Things You Should Know About Me

  1. I’m an introvert with extrovert strengths (super weird but yeah).
  2. I love ice cream. Any Fudge Ripple fans out there?
  3. My showers are as hot as the Fires of Mordor (if you don’t understand that reference then we cannot be friends).
  4. My favorite movie of all time is A Little Princess (not the Shirley Temple version). My favorite book is Wuthering Heights. Dark, I know; but absolutely brilliant.

So all of this is me! Grab your favorite drink (if that’s wine, then we are on the same page!) and enjoy!
